Underhive Scum and my 90th follower!

Firstly I'd like to welcome my 90th follower Jessica from the Neon Pink Apokalypse blog, check out her awesome pikachu inspired grots.

Finally finished a couple more mini's at the weekend to go with the small 40k sci-fi group I've got going on. Both of these figures have been half started for a couple of weeks now and I just couldn't bring myself to finish them for some reason but this weekend my muse struck and I powered through. I've no idea when or if I'll ever play anything with any of these figures but they were both a fun diversion from my usual Fantasy fare.

First up we have a Necromunda Skavvy.

Next up we have the Warzone Dark Legion Nepharite of Demnogonis Figure, he's one chunky hefty piece of lead and was fairly difficult to paint as I kept dropping him :)

I'm really pleased with how he turned out, especially the weird fleshy part of his gun.
Here he is next to the skavvy so you can get an idea of the scale:

Hopefully towards the end of the week I should have something amazing to show you all, something that I never thought I would hold in my hand, something long coveted... Cryptic I know

  1. Cool looking figures and paintjobs that second guy must be a right beast. I like the tracked foot

  2. Thank you for the mention =)
loving the warzone miniature, really full of character and has to be the first miniature I have seen with one tread foot?
The grimy, rotty, organic colours really suit them and those bases are amazing!.
At moment I'm just getting stuff done to a tabletop level... yours and other blogs I read, really are making me want to have a couple of miniatures to spend a decent amount of time on.

    1. No worries, the tread foot reminds of one of the guys from the ABC warriors from 2000AD, not sure which one but I'm sure one of them had at least one tread foot :) I wish I could churn through mini's fast and get stuff painted up quickly as I've got tons of unpainted stuff in drawers but sadly it takes me an age to paint anything.

  3. Man, I hate to keep gushing over all you do, but your SciFi stuff is one of the coolest projects I've seen this year!

I've got all of the old 'Munda Scavvies and seeing your work here makes me want to dig 'em out and set to with the acrylic. I'm really liking the look of the Warzone stuff, too.

  5. I don't know how I missed your Mutant Chronicles stuff. It's excellent. I love the Nepharite. I love seeing older minis given some modern paint love, great work.
